Why the code points at your short link

A Lox QR code encodes the short link, not the destination. You can change where the link leads at any time, even after you've printed the code on flyers or business cards, and the code keeps working.

How to make a QR code

1. Create a link, or find an existing one on your Links page.
2. Open the menu on the link's row and choose QR Code.
3. The QR code page shows a live preview of your code.

Customizing your QR code

• Size: choose Small (150px), Medium (300px) or Large (500px), depending on where you'll use it.
• Colors: set the foreground and background colors with hex values to match your brand.

Downloading and using your code

Download your code as a PNG image. For the best scanning results:

• Minimum size: print the code at least 2cm × 2cm.
• High contrast: keep a strong contrast between the foreground and background colors.
• Clear space: leave a small quiet zone of empty space around the code.

Every scan counts as a click in your link's analytics, so you can see how well your printed materials work.
