Decoding Analytics

Understand the metrics that matter most and learn how to interpret your link data.

The Dashboard Overview

Your main dashboard gives you a quick snapshot of your account's performance:

  • Total Links: The total number of short URLs in your account.
  • Total Bio Pages: The number of link-in-bio pages you've created.
  • Clicks This Month: How many clicks your links have received in the current month.
  • Clicks Trend: A 30-day chart showing your click activity over time.
  • Top Performing Links: Your top 5 most-clicked links this month.

The Analytics Page

For deeper insights, visit the dedicated Analytics page from the sidebar. Here's a breakdown of the key metrics:

1. Total Clicks vs. Unique Visitors

  • Total Clicks: The all-time number of times your links were clicked.
  • Period Clicks: The number of clicks within your selected date range.
  • Unique Visitors: The number of individual visitors (by IP address) within your selected date range.
  • Active Links: The total number of links currently active in your account.

2. Top Links

A paginated table of your links ranked by click count, showing the link name, URL key, total clicks, last click date, and destination URL.

3. Filtering Your Data

Use the filters at the top of the analytics page to narrow your view:

  • Date Range: Set a start and end date to analyze a specific time period (defaults to the last 30 days).
  • Link Source: Filter by all links, standalone links only, or links used in a Bio Page.

Bio Page Analytics

Each Bio Page has its own analytics view showing total clicks, a breakdown of clicks per link, and top devices and browsers used by your visitors. Access it by clicking the analytics icon on any Bio Page.
