Turn on two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication adds a second step to logging in: a code from an app on your phone.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Open Two-Factor Authentication.
3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or 1Password), or enter the setup key by hand.
4. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
5. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe.

Use a strong password

Use a unique password for Lox and change it from Password in Settings. A strong password:

• Is at least 12 characters long.
• Mixes uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols.
• Doesn't contain personal details like your name or birthdate.

If you sign in with Google, your Google account protects your Lox account too, so turn on 2-step verification there.

Look after your API tokens

Create tokens under API Tokens in Settings and give each one only the permissions it needs. A token is shown once, so store it somewhere safe, and revoke any token you no longer use.
